Terms & Conditions

General

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  2. Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd reserve the right to amend or waive these terms for specific events. Any such amendment or waiver will be notified to the client in writing.
  3. No alteration to these terms will be valid unless approved in writing by Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd.

Hire Confirmation

  1. Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd require all clients to confirm hire bookings via our rental website.
  2. Confirmation of booking constitutes acceptance of Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd terms and conditions.
  3. Confirmation of booking constitutes acceptance of the latest anticipated account or quote.
  4. Hire Period - Prices quoted are for 4 days hire as a standard. Extended hire terms/ charges are available.

Upon Collection of Items

  1. All orders are packed to safely transport the hired items and reduce the risk of damages and breakages in transport. Please ensure that they are packed as such throughout the hire period.
  2. Queries on collected items must be made within 24 hours of collection.
  3. Confirmation of booking constitutes acceptance of the latest anticipated account or quote.
  4. All hired items are to be collected from Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd, Unit M1-M3 New Covent Garden Flower Market, London, SW8 5EH.
  5. Any deliveries made by us or courier will be to main door, ground level entrance, unless pre-arranged. An Additional charge will be added in respect of waiting time should the driver be delayed or detained while attempting to deliver or collect.

Upon Return of Items

  1. Items must be returned to Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd, Unit M1-M3 New Covent Garden Flower Market, London, SW8 5EH, between 9am and 4pm – Unless by prior arrangement.
  2. After items have been returned and checked by our staff, any shortages or damaged goods will be charged at replacement cost. Customer goods cannot be accepted as replacement.
  3. If items are missing or damaged, you will be informed of this and an invoice will be sent to you.
  4. All items must be returned as they have been collected. If items are returned dirty, still with water, covered in wax, etc. a washing charge of 25% of the hire charge will be made. Our paintable items are an exception in this case and can be returned in any colour.
  5. Items retuned late are subject to an additional charge.
  6. All packaging must be returned. Any shortages or damaged packaging will incur a fee.

Payment

  1. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at the standard prevailing rate.
  2. If booking over the phone, an invoice for 100% of the expected final bill will be submitted to the client and is payable on receipt. In the event that payment is not received prior to the collection date, Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd reserve the right to terminate this Agreement without further notice. Payment must be made prior to collection.
  3. stripes & Peonies Ltd reserve the right to refuse credit terms to clients.
  4. If Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd waives the terms relation to payment of deposits before an event such a waiver shall not prejudice the rights of Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd to recover payment from the client of the amounts that would otherwise be payable under these terms and conditions in the event of a cancellation or amendment of an event.
  5. Full payments must be made prior to collection or delivery of items.
  6. We accept payment by BACS, credit/debit card (except AMEX) only.
  7. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
  8. Payment for damages and losses are to be paid within 7 days of receipt of the invoice.

Cancellation

  1. Cancellations of bookings must be made in writing.
  2. Cancellation of orders within 48 hours of date of hire are chargeable at 50% of the full hire charge.

Breakages and Losses

  1. Unless otherwise stated all equipment remain property of Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd . Losses and Breakages will be charged at replacement cost.
  2. Pinstripes and Peonies do not accept responsibility for the client’s property that may be accidentally returned with the hired equipment. The client is responsible in arranging collection of these.
  3. All boxes or crates to be return dry and intact. Any missing boxes or crates will be charged at a replacement cost.

Liability

  1. The liability of Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd for a Supplier’s failure to perform or to provide services or otherwise is limited to the value of that Supplier’s services.
  2. In any event Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd has no liability for any failure to provide and services due to industrial action, pandemic, postal or communications delay, plant failure, hostilities, acts of terrorism, the death of a Royal Family member or Head of State or any other circumstances beyond the control of Pinstripes and Peonies.
  3. The Client shall indemnify and keep indemnified Pinstripes and Peonies against any costs or liabilities incurred by Pinstripes and Peonies as a result of any breach of these Terms by the Client.
  4. The Hirer is responsible for insuring goods from the time of collection/delivery until they are returned to our premises and collection accepted on behalf of Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd.
  5. Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd does not supply insurance cover, risk assessments or method statements for any hired items.
  6. Pinstripes & Peonies Ltd is under no liability whatsoever for any injury or damage to persons or property or loss of profit claimed by the hirer in respect of any interruptions, delays, inaccuracies, errors, omissions or any failure to delivery or from the use of any equipment under hire.

Data Management

  1. Once a client has confirmed a booking, you agree for us to retain your details so that we may contact you in future with further opportunities and marketing materials. If you do not wish us to contact you with marketing materials, please inform us upon confirmation of your booking.
